Absolutely spotless with running and biking trails down the street. Private and quiet- lovely suite with everything you could ask for.Very comfortable bed. Laurie and Scott were excellent hosts and very helpful. Thanks for a great stay !

Very cute accommodation!!

We’ve stayed here before and love how peaceful the area is. Lovely house and we enjoy being greeted by the chickens. Royston is very close to Cumberland, Comox and Courtney and is a beautiful area.

This is our 2nd time. It’s clean, well laid out & beautiful. The bathroom has a huge tub & separate glassed-in shower. The bed is very comfortable. There is a great view of the mountains from all the windows. Laurie gives you six eggs from her chickens. Only drawback is that it’s upstairs. We’ll stay again.

Great stay at The Roost

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Royston Roost. The suite is tastefully decorated and everything is in pristine condition. The view from our private balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Laurie and Scott were wonderful hosts and always available to answer questions. We loved all their pets and appreciated the free range eggs. We look forward to our next visit!

Very cute, clean suite. When the a/c wouldnt work, scott was quick to remedy the problem. Comfortable bed and awesome sheets. I do love the feel of good sheets!

Peaceful

Needed a respite weekend somewhere quiet and this was the place !!! Check in was great, suite is lovely, comfortable and had everything I needed. I felt comfortable and safe and best of all relaxed ! Will definitely recommend to others and stay again. Thanks so much for the lovely accommodation !

Wonderful getaway

The room at Royston Roost is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you might need for your perfect getaway. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but still close to towns such as Cumberland or Courteney. The owner is very friendly and helpful - we were even treated to some fresh eggs from their free ranging hens. Thanks to Laurie and Scott for providing this wonderful home away from home.

Relaxing in Royston

A tranquil setting. Clean and well equipped … perfect for Comox Valley getaway. And we were even able to store our bikes and golf clubs! Laurie and Scott were very welcoming and helpful. 😀👍

Very clean and nicely equipped. My only complaint was the small barking dog the owners have downstairs. We heard him at night for small amount and in the morning while I think the owners were away.

This suite was everything we expected and more!!!

From the start, communication was super easy with the hosts. Check-in info was sent with great detail and easy to follow. The suite itself was clean, decorated nicely and just absolutely beautiful. Comfy bed, great kitchen stocked with everything you need (including fresh eggs in the fridge – thank you) and the bathroom… well let’s just say it was top-notch. This was the perfect weekend getaway for us and we would definitely stay at this place again.

Perfect getaway

This is a new, beautifully decorated, compact suite in a convenient and quiet location. Immaculately clean, it provided space to relax on a deck with rural views, a small kitchen to prepare simple meals, and location in an area that invited you out to walk and explore. Comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom, a separate entrance for privacy. A lot of thought has gone into this accommodation, and it shows. We were extremely happy with our choice, and will definitely return.

Great place to stay. Lots of room with a great setup. Very private. Laurie and Scott were always available through chat on VRBO. They left phone numbers too, but we didn't need them. We enjoyed this lovely condo for 4 nights. It rates even higher than 5 stars! Everything about it was wonderful! Spotless, great linens, kitchen stocked with basics like coffee,cream,sugar,etc. easy check in, owner lives below in the house so is readily available if needed. One slight downside- stairs going up to the suite, some may find them difficult. But a true gem! Thank you Scott and Laurie!

Royston Roost

Property was extremely well maintained and the unit was impeccably neat and tidy. Stairs into the unit could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. All queries were answered in a spontaneous fashion. The eggs in the fridge, owners chickens, were a nice touch. We would go back again without hesitation.

Swanky yet cozy

Royston Roost was awesome! We stayed 4 nights and tried to stay 1 extra night but couldn't. It was booked. No surprise there. We were welcomed with fresh eggs from the girls. We also had fresh coffee creamer which was really welcomed, as we arrived quite late and were unable to pick up creamer on our way in. The next morning was saved! There's a lot to do and see and we still didn’t see everything we wanted. I guess we'll just have to come back again!😉
