“Wonderful place to stay, in an old old Maison decorated with a lot of art. There's a beautiful private garden in the back. Also a library where you can take care of work and the like, and the rooms are very well appointed. The staff was terrific. They were very helpful in many ways. The only glitch for American travelers would be parking. There is secure underground parking a very very short distance away. And the staff normally reaches out before you get there to give you the GPS location to……

“This is a great little hotel with excellent staff and good breakfast. You get to stay right near where it is all happening in the old town center. Couple of limitations here: this hotel has no elevator, so if you bring large luggage, be prepared to haul it up three flights of stairs, which is no fun because the stairs are small and steep. Rooms are generally small although comfortable and clean. Also, if you plan to bring a car here, be prepared to navigate congested one-way cobble stone roads……

“This is a fully automated , self-service unstaffed investment property (with Hotels.com should make clear and rate on a different scale than full-service hotels). The construction is brand new, so it was impeccably clean, though sterile and lacking human-centered design elements (extra outlet by bed, place to hang a face towel, little things). There is nothing human or personal about it, except the "concierge" who texts you back when you contact the establishment. (She was nice.) I did not……

“The location was perfect, everything was walkable, although it was tricky to find at first because we did not receive any instructions. The communication to check in did not work as expected for some technical reasons. Otherwise, the host was very kind to check on us through a message everyday.”
