"This cute, clean cottage was simple but well equipped and on a quiet, well tended property with a beautiful ocean view. A covered porch with chairs and a picnic table are there for you to enjoy the outdoors. Arrive with everything you need (coffee!) as this is a rural property without amenities nearby. Would stay again. "

"It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. Super quaint place to stay. Thank you so much Marcie for the hospitality—-including eggs and veggies! P.S. we left “Flat Butchie”, my adventurous brother who passed a few years back—-he loved Nova Scotia and would have liked that place—so he stayed in the front room"

"This is a property that really highlights the amazing beauty of Cape Breton! Sunsets are breathtaking, as is the trail past the pond to the private beach. The property is exactly as offered. We had everything we needed for a wonderful 3 nights. Michael took great care to ensure we had a very comfortable stay there and communication/responses very fast. There are also great reataurants within 20 minutes of the property. I have no problem highly recommending this property!"
