“Everything about this place is so amazing and welcoming. From the drive there to first stepping into the dome, to seeing all of the personal touches all throughout. We loved star gazing outside and through the top of the dome from the loft. The bed was cozy and the communication with the host was quick and so very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!”

“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. “I really enjoyed my stay at the Coastal Inn. The room was very clean and loaded with conveniences. The bed was comfortable and since visiting on a hot day I really appreciated the super AC which was preset for comfort. Tje checkin process was modern and simple - i wish more hotels did this. I liked the quiet location just out of town - and will return when traveling again through the area. Highly recommended.”

“We got a nice view from the window. I liked the fact that the bathroom was splitted. Bath and toilet in a room and sink separate. However, I didn't like at all that the the light was inly one for both. Getting up in the middle of the night I needed the light on and I woke up my child because the light also illuminated the whole room ”
