Located on Miners Creek Road, also called Sunnyside by the locals because of its extended time before the sun sets, this 3 bed, 2 bath home provides the best of both worlds, offering a ranch setting without being too far from town. The classic log cabin is just 4 miles from Creede and offers easy access to the city's good amenities and the Rio Grande and sites up Highway 149.

The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook, and there is also an outdoor gas for those beautiful Colorado evenings. Sit by the expansive fireplace on a cool mountain morning and snuggle up with a hot cup of coffee. The south and west-facing decks overlook the meadow valley, which is the perfect place to gather and breathe the fresh mountain air. Enjoy the Miners Creek Valley while the sunsets behind the San Juans.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and the 4th of July holidays).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
