"We had an amazing stay at Villa Estia, set just a short drive from Makry Gialos in a peaceful hillside location. The villa offered everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday and then some!The views were truly breathtaking—rolling hills, sea glimpses, and beautiful sunsets right from the terrace. The pool was a standout feature for us. It was perfect for both younger children and adults, with a great layout and plenty of space to swim or cool off. There were also plenty of shaded areas...

"Sometimes I don’t want to put good reviews because then it will get booked up when I want to come back :) If you read the description and it’s what your after then look no further. Everything was exactly as we wanted for our holiday, we like a bit of privacy and having a place to ourselves when we want to relax. Local tavernas not far away by car and shops with the essentials a 5 minute stroll away. Alexandra was on hand for any questions or advice for things to do and we can’t wait to return."

"Villa was beautiful. Plenty of rooms to relax. Infinity pool was gorgeous. The host came to greet us and had brought gifts of food, very responsive to messages. He went out of his way to make you feel welcome. The villa is on top of a mountain and was very quiet. The small village not far from the villa had lots of culture. "Always an awesome stay! This is our go-to hotel in Chania. The rooms are quiet and spotless. The staff from the front desk to dining room to housekeeping are always professional and friendly. The location is perfectly situated at the far end of the harbor with lovely views. Yet still within walking distance of great restaurants and plenty of shops. The breakfast is stellar. And the onsite restaurant offers some of the best homemade dolmades we’ve ever had. Next time we will try the made-to-order galaktobouriko. An added bonus is their onsite parking. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Beautiful resort. Definitely earned the luxury title. The pool could have been heated as we did visit in the fall, but the water was beautiful and we still swam. I noticed there was a decent amount of grime in the corners but it is such a large pool I was not too surprised. Overall this didn’t create an issues. The bed was very firm but house keeping was great and immediately got us an extra topper. The staff were all amazing and we definitely noticed the luxury service in the house keeping frequency, room service speed and professionalism and the mini bar refreshes. Also the food was amazing. Best all inclusive food we have had. The desserts were all unreal. One thing I will mention is that there are planes flying low overhead every hour so more during the day so if you’re looking for a super peaceful escape this may not be the one. But if you can overlook the planes, we still felt very relaxed and the vibe was awesome. Overall gorgeous property, and we will stay again. "
