The cottage offers a huge family room with fireplace, roomy kitchen with sit up bar, another living area with 2nd fireplace, 2 bedrooms, and 1 full bath and half bath. (Sleeps 8 comfortably) A large deck runs the entire length of the cottage and a huge backyard for all your outdoor games. The beach has hard sandy bottom - great swimming area for children. All within steps of one of the cleanest lakes in MN. Paul Lake is a deep lake, great for fishing, water sports and swimming. Located on the east side of Paul Lake so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and only 6 miles from the progressive community of Perham! Licensed by Otter Tail County Environmental Health. Girls Trip
This property was perfect for us gals, amazing deck with a gorgeous view. We sat there every morning and night! Nice big dock for us to tan on and we took advantage of the kayaks! So close to Perham if you needed anything. We will be back again someday!

Can I give SIX Stars for Summer Breeze?!!!
Summer Breeze is AMAZING!!! How many times have you said “our rental is better in person than the pics.?” True! The lake view from Summer Breeze is beautiful! The house was sparkling clean, very easy check-in, fresh peonies from the yard on the kitchen table which overlooked the lake. Did I mention the deck was huge and all main rooms (kitchen, family and living room) faced the deck and the beautiful quiet lake. Amazing lake view! The kitchen was very well supplied, and parking was easy and plentiful. I repeat….5++++ stars on everything! Thanks to owner Sally and husband Ron for everything!

Great vacation week!
We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay on a beautiful lake front property. The deck facing the lake was enjoyable and on windy days we could still enjoy the summer weather on the front side of the home that had a nice yard. Loved it!

This is Minnesota!
My family of 4 stayed 6 nights here and it was wonderful and comfortable. Ron and Sally were the best hosts we’ve ever encountered through our numerous Vrbo rentals. So kind, generous, thorough, and checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. My family enjoyed the kayaks, bikes, fire pit, bocce ball, and the sandy beach. The deck was also a wonderful space to have morning coffee and look out at the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the most part. The only thing that wasn’t provided was shampoo/soaps/coffee/condiments but that wasn’t a big deal. We had a few rainy days (which we loved) and we were able to use the smart TV to watch a few movies and shows. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to coming back. And thank you Ron for the fresh garden vegetables!!

Extraordinary hosts!
Sally and Ron, Couldn’t have been better hosts. They took a personal interest in ensuring that we had the best experience possible. The house has everything you might need. We’ve rented many, many places over the years, but this was by far the most fulfilling. Our 5 year-old daughter has asked more times than I can count before we even left, if we can come back.

Close to heaven
This vacation spot is as close to heaven as you will ever get. Our family of 8 lived very comfortably there for one week. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some more. The patio is a bonus and the view is spectacular. Great family gathering spot!
We had 3 generations together and there was something for everyone! Swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, yard games, and a fire pit. Ron made sure our stay comfortable and memorable. Very nice cabin with beautiful views!

Outstanding Cottage
I will start off by saying that the property owners, Ron and Sally, are absolutely the most genuine people I’ve ever met. After settling in Ron and Sally took a stroll down the street to visit with us and go over any questions that we may have. During our conversation You could tell that they truly wanted you to enjoy their cottage and the experience of Lake Paul. This property and lake are an absolute surreal experience. The cottage has been kept up well, the water is unbelievable clear (and very warm when we went!), the environment is peaceful and the views looking out to the lake during sunrise/sunset are breath taking. The property is set up perfectly for yard games with a fairly large side yard and a long “beach front”. The fishing in this lake is a hidden gem. Ron was gracious enough to tell us all about the hidden secrets of the lake and there was no disappointment on our end if you followed his directions! They even have two kayaks that are readily available to use for fishing Out farther than then the shore cast. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be scheduling a visit here again!

Great Getaway
Our family of 5 had a great stay at Summer Breeze. Our three kids thoroughly enjoyed the lake. We spent our time swimming, kayaking, and fishing from the dock. It is a clean lake and not that busy (at least when we were there). The kids even commented on how friendly everyone was that we encountered. We were a bit concerned about our three year old and the stairs to get to the lake and lack of walk in access to the lake, but she had no issues. The steps are easy to navigate and there is a full set of steps (not a ladder) to get from the dock into the lake. The cabin was very clean and met our needs.
