Overall， it's a lousy stay from the check-in to check-out. During the check-in, we asked if we could leave our luggage in the concierge temporary for a quick shopping, but we were shocked by their answers - they will charge 5 pounds per luggage in cash! The room wasn't clean enough to me; there are some crumbs left on the carpet and couch. Within 20 mins, I called the house keeping twice to clean up those mess, but nobody answered the call not even to come! In the night, tried to turn on the desk lamp but suddenly realized all the desk lamps in the room are unplugged purposedly! By the time of check-out, I requested the staff to provide me the invoice which was promised by the staff do the check-in. That check-out guy said they never have such practice, and the check-in guy shall be new and does not know the rule! I disagreed this Hotel deserve 4-star rating.

An excellent hospitality experiences, with fabulous hotel design, cleanliness, nice staff and high dining standard.

This is my third times in a raw to stay in this hotel. The good location, larger area inside the room, well facilitated small kitchen and free-to-access laundry are the primary justifications for me to choose this hotel again this time. Somehow the service qualities dropped significantly during this 7-day stay. We arrived the hotel by 14:20 but the receptionist rejected our request on early check-in. Neither do we can complete check-in process first and to leave our luggage there, to collect the room key when the room is ready. They insisted we can wait in the lobby till 15:00 or to pay extra money for upgrade. We then decided to wait till 15:00. But strange to say, before we are leaving, I saw other guests could get their room key even by noon. By the third day morning in our stay, one of the two lifts served for Dao's building is out-of-order. Somehow this lift never been fixed by the time we left. What even worse, the other lift broken also by the six days. And we need to go through the emergency floors down to B1 first then up again to 6th floor. When we check out the day later, we have to asked service staff to carry the three heavy baggage from 6th floor to the ground floor (very sorry for that kind gentleman), we carry the other 4 bags to walk down the stairs. When we return the room key, the receptionist forgot to cancel the pre-authorized deposit and to provide the final expenditures for me to verify. I need to ring them to remind from Heathrow.

The breakfast was great. The hallways can be a little confusing, but the location is excellent. It’s very close to Victoria Station, and you can easily walk to Big Ben.
