"Majestic hotel renovated to mimic early beginnings in 1880. Very comfortable but room felt dated after newer hotels we had stayed in until you realize it is a beautiful traditional decor fitted out with Royal Doulton bathroom fittings. Never imagined I would stay in Trafalgar Square, we easily walked down Whitehall to Westminster and the next day to Oxford, Picadilly and Regent Street. Plug in basin not working and couldn't work out the air conditioning but if it had worried us, we would have contacted the staff."

"Nearby Paddington station is perfect location, full of restaurants, shops and connections to anywhere, 20 min away from Heatrow (use Heathrow Express trains). The hotel is a tipycal UK building, avoid it if you have issues using the stairs, rooms can be in ground floor, basement or up to 3 floors up. Anyways the stuff helped us in all cases with the lugagge. Our was in basement and was great cause we had an internal yard. Beds and pillows comfortable, staff super kind, there is a Nespresso machine in commor area (paid capsules, but free milk, hot/ cold water and cups). Toilet and shower inside room. All hotel was renovated, classic style. Rooms are small, this is very common in Central London. Amy, the recptionist was super kind, everyone in the hotel is actually. I would definitely come back, we felt safe, had all we needed, online pictures are exactly the same as you'll see when you arrive. very good choice having paid around 150 pounds per night. Thanks!"

"The bed was comfortable and it was in a great location. The hotel felt very safe. The A/C was also great during those hot London days. There were a couple things that weren't perfect during my stay - not total mess ups (like some gym equipment not working, my room not getting serviced, etc.), but just tiny imperfections and Daphne at the front desk was amazing! She made me feel incredible. She had amazing service and made me want to come back. I was so impressed with her. I wasn't even complaining just talking to her and I was beyond blown away with her customer service! Would stay here again"

"Great room cocoon 4, clean, great shower room, quiet and comfy beds. Right in Piccadilly so really convenient especially to the west end for the shows. "

"What an amazing experience.We stayed here seceral times when it was the Hard Rock and were concerned it wouldnt be as good .We had nothing to worry about .Apart frkm he branding nothing else had changed. Awe made very welcome by Maza in the backstage room.Elvin from secutity took us to the room and as i use a walking stick talked me through ths fire evacuation procedure.A lovely gentleman whos name escapes me brought our bags and taljedvus through usingvthe air conditionibg. . We had booked to see Setevie wonder on Saturday then ELO SUnday but dud to ihis ill health ELO was cancelled.We asked at reception of othercefents particularly an art exhibition we wanted to see..He went awaycabd came bzck with 2 tickets for free entyr .What a lovely surprise. The only thing that was disappointng was they had now Brown sauce with breakfast.We did ask but they had run out. That being said it was a first class stay and we will definitely return .Thank you "
