“We stayed for 2 nights here, after the Postjona Caves and before heading to Trieste for the day. We didn’t take advantage of their spa facilities unfortunately as we did not have time, but it was easy to find the hotel and had good parking. The breakfast here was fantastic ! I would recommend and stay here again.”

“The room was good. The breakfast was very good. We didn’t eat dinner as we preferred to go out to somewhere smaller. The pool was excellent but didn’t use the sauna because it was expensive, I don’t need to spend 3 hours in a sauna. There’s been plenty of hotels were they have been included or cheaper.”

Zimmer i.O., aber Blick auf eine Seitengasse war nicht so schön. Die Dusche als sichtbares Element im Zimmer - nicht im Badezimmer - war gewöhnungsbedürftig.”

“We hadden voor één van de grootste kamers gekozen die voldeed aan de beschrijving met wel één uitzondering. Er stond een grote badkuip, maar de op de website beloofde douche was er niet. In de plaats werd ons een appartement voorgesteld mét douche en badkuip. We hebben onze eerste keuze aangehouden. Vriendelijk personeel, vooral de bejaarde receptionist van ‘s avonds. Het ontbijt was netjes. We mochten uitzonderlijk op het binnenpleintje parkeren in plaats van op de gratis publieke, maar minder……

“Nice location. Nice washer and kitchen. Far from parking. Check in was complicated. Check email for addition website to check into. This was difficult without wifi. We were standing on the street trying to figure it out at 10PM. Then you get a building code to get a box code to get a room key. Now we understand it, it is doable.”

“We stayed 3 nights in the Lavanda Apartment. It was clean, very well maintained and comfortable accommodation in charming Marezige up in the hills surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, for those wanting some distance from the crowds in nearby Koper and Piran. Our accommodation was also very close to Hrastovlje (20 min drive), the forests for our truffle hunting tour (5 min drive or 10 min walk) and walkable to the centre of Marezige (7 min uphill walk) where the wine and olive oil……

“Access was problemmatic locking should be raionailised. Bathroom across the hall was not a great convenience. No water in room was not good for self catering.”
