"Our group of 3 stayed for 2 nights at Maison de Chanteloup and had a wonderful time. Guichard had a fire going in the wood stove when we got there which was so welcoming! The house was rustic, but comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect - close to town, but quiet and relaxing. Guichard was very responsive to questions. We would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"Very friendly and accommodating staff. Unique hotel with interesting decor. Overall maintenance of room and hotel needs to be addressed; dates and showing signs of wear . Beds were comfortable with ‘tight’ space in room …In room lighting required bulbs. Great location and atmosphere. "

"Great location. Lovely walk to the river. Very peaceful Property functional. The decking is dangerous, it’s not fitted down and moves. The shower temp was impossible to control we ended up just using the over head bath shower "

"This was a great stay! It was luxurious to have so much space! Conveniently located to all the attractions in Amboise, and a winery a literal stone’s throw away. One downside was no internet or wifi, and within the house the signal was poor- had to pop outside a few times when internet was needed. We would definitely stay again! "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The Hosts were extremely courtesy and welcoming! They gave us a nice tour of the place when we arrived. Our younger kids enjoyed the trampoline that was available as well. The only thing we didn't realize was that the linens were an extra charge as the listing said they were provided. Other than the communication was excellent! We would happily stay there again if in the area. Thanks for allowing us to make memories at your Gite!"
