"The location is not updated. I was informed that they have shifted to Mansion One when I called up upon check-in. And the manager promised this is much better than the previous one. This wasn't the main concern anyway. What disappointed us was the room condition, which was totally different from what was advertised. There wasn't lighting in the room. I requested to change to another room yet was informed than all rooms are fully booked. They sent a maintenance guy to change lightbulb. However...

"I had a good stay at Tido's. Highlights have definitely been the easy-going reception staff as well the lovely common area on the top floor. I would recommend anyone visiting Penang to stay here. It's centrally located and has a 24 hour reception. The staff are accommodating and the area itself is convenient. The only wish for improvement is for the toilets and bathrooms to be cleaned daily. But in general the hostel is well kept :)"

"A very charming property that is just a short walk to the centre of Georgetown. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. We especially enjoyed the pool and the tasty breakfasts. We stayed in the Sultan Suite which was perfect for our family of 4. We loved Georgetown - and Penang more generally - and if we return we would book to stay at Noordin Mews again without hesitation."
