What a beautiful place to stay. Very quiet and private. The inn keeper, Kelso, was readily available for questions or help. Delicious breakfast. Our room had everything we needed and such a unique and beautiful setting. Just minutes from Durango and the Mesa Verde Cliff dwellings. We had a great stay.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. The breakfast was home-made from quiches to breads, fresh berries and other fruits in season. Home made jams, honey. The chef Nina and Ruth, her assistant were so kind and accommodating. The place where we ate breakfast was charming and we were able to sit outdoors as well on the veranda and enjoy the gardens and the view of the lake. Absolutely wonderful experience. Great escape from the daily busy life in a city.

This is an outstanding property and place to stay near Durango! The accommodations are beautiful and well maintained, and I loved the garden area- even despite the drought it’s so pretty and serene. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and far exceeded expectations! I will also add, there were some contact difficulties leading up to our stay with Expedia, but the property worked it out for us to stay as planned over the July 4th weekend and honored the original rate. Just overall an absolute amazing place, and we will return next time in the area!

Just prior to our scheduled stay at Blue Lake Ranch, we were contacted by the staff and asked if we were okay with an upgrade to the "yellow house" since there was a large wedding party that was going to be dominating the main property. We accepted and we were very pleasantly surprised to have this wonderful property to ourselves. There is a balcony overlooking a pond that we enjoyed very much. The breakfast at the main property was extraordinary and delicious. The staff was always available and responded quickly and professionally to any of our questions and concerns. We would most definitely return to this property in the future when traveling to the area.

Amazing location and hospitality. Pretty remote, great breakfast, our castia was very nice. Lots of amenities and solid wifi. However, beware of spider's. There was a few in the room and every evening when we came back, there were a few more waiting for us. Regardless, would recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Lake Ranch. The property was fantastic. Lots of birds and a few deer walking around. There’s so many places to sit and enjoy the views. Our room was wonderful. Our room was spacious and very relaxing, with a patio in back. Our only regret is, we did not get to stay longer.
