“A charming property, clean and with everything we needed. Julie gave us a warm welcome welcoming and was very helpful, making suggestions and recommendations for our stay. It’s a peaceful location, only a short walk from the canal - perfect for a stroll to Chichester, where the cathedral and gardens are well worth seeing. West Wittering beach is nearby too.”

“Very happy with the house, cleanliness, equipment and communication. Great location with all amenities close to hand. I would definitely recommend booking this house. The only thing I would change is I would install an outside light, as it is dark when returning at night.”

“This is one of my favorite stays ever! The approach to this cottage is down quiet country lanes with gorgeous views. The cottage itself is situated right next to a field but there is plenty of shade and a screen of trees for privacy from the road. You cannot really see any other homes from this property so it truly is private and quiet.The cottage contains everything you might need including kettle, microwave, iron, plenty of towels, pots & pans, dishes and a nice TV. “Everyone has their own view on what makes a holiday, for me and my family it was this property. A beautifully decorated and appointed 3-bedroom bungalow in a cul-de-sac location, 10 minute walk to the shops and takeaways, 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the most amazing pubs and restaurants. “We were expecting to stay in a 1 bedroom cottage not a room There was no kitchen just a cupboard with a sink and a microwave so no room to be able to cook There was no bed as such just a futon because the room was so small we had to put it together and collapse it every day I was glad to come home”

“Although we enjoyed our stay at the Dairy it should not be advertised as 4 guests in one bedroom there is only one double bed and this was disappointing. The traffic was very noisy and the road was too dangerous for walking. ”

The Octagonal Walks booklet which you can purchase at the local cafe/shop offers a variety of well documented walks. The only thing we found disappointing was the amount of dog hair in the cottage, a good vacuum cleaner would have helped.”
