"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. It took us until 945 pm before we were able to get a far from desirable accommodations. We were preparing to sleep in our car by that time. We have yet to receive a refund or response. There...

The pool was wonderful and the location in town was peaceful yet right near the main square. Lots of restaurants and shops. Just down the road from so many great volcano and forest activities. "There is no better view of the volcano than at this property. It is right next to a soda, so easy to get food. The cabin was upgraded, and had everything you needed for a night in or just a pass thru. Close to all area attractions. Hosts were super helpful in giving you local gems. Would highly recommend!"
