Beautiful and comfortable home to stay alongside dear friends for a road trip to a beloved church in TN from PA. It rained and we still had quite an enjoyable time in the beautiful living area playing our acoustic guitars. Definitely recommend.

An Amazing Place
We were in awe at the beauty of the property and what it had to offer. We explored many trails, swung on the swings, laughed all the way down the slide (adults too), and felt warm and cozy in the very accommodating house. We loved this spot!

Nice family getaway
Overall, this was a nice property. My boys and niece absolutely loved the swings, creek and slide. We loved that it was within 5 minutes of the beautiful waterfall. No cell service and the WiFi wasn’t great but sometimes it’s nice to disconnect. I would like to make a couple of suggestions. We personally didn’t like the restrictions on the heating/AC thermostat. I completely understand having guests turn it up or down at checkout but not during their stay. As far as the property management situation, I had to email our guest contact 3 times to request information on early check in before she finally asked for my phone number to text me “if” the house became available earlier, which we never heard from her again. Very poor communication there. We do appreciate you offering your beautiful home to other families!

Relaxing getaway
The property itself is beautiful. The area is peacefully. The land had trails, swings and a beautiful stream. The living room set up was weird no T.V downstairs so we couldnt really watch any movies as a family. Only t.v was upstairs but you cant really do it upstairs either theres not room up there either for a family. But if family movies arnt your thing then this place is perfect. Plenty of boardgames to keep you busy inside on rainy days. Plenty to do outside and around the area. The beds were the only downfall of this place! I have never felt a bed so hard except for camping on the ground. It was hard to sleep and my back was screaming by the mornings but again I have a bad back so if you like rock hard beds then it wont be a problem. My son nor inlaws complained about theirs downstairs. The house had plety of space inside and out for the 5 of us.

Charming cabin!
We enjoyed our stay even though it rained a lot all weekend so we couldn’t explore the property the way we had hoped to. The cabin is very charming, with a cool branch railing on the stairs, but the living room is small with no TV and little seating. If it hadn’t been raining we would have been outside around the fire pit in the evenings or on the deck out front enjoying the view in the daytime, so that wouldn’t have even been an issue. The TV is in a narrow loft upstairs, so not a lot of seating for a group of 7 adults up there either, so we hung out at the dining table and played games, which was fun. The location is beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Late night tv watcher.
The property was just as listed. Everything was just as listed excellent location. Beautiful scenery. The fishing locations weren’t specific so we didn’t get any fishing done. Love the shooting range it was unexpected but delightful. Fire pit great. The only problems I had was the tv location and internet was very weak. We love to cook and it was raining so indoor cooking was the only option but we couldn’t use the sink because it was fiberglass and no hot water. I would definitely recommend this to other people. I just needed a tv in the master bedroom with some kind of cable or satellite or dvd player. Very pleasant stay . Thank you!!

We had the best time here! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house itself was nice and clean, including tubs and floors. And the room setup was perfect- plenty of space for pack n plays to be added in too. But the best part of all was the property. Beautiful flowing creek that our boys loved playing in, plenty of trails to hike, 2 separate tree swings, and a massive tunnel slide! Our kids were in heaven all week long! It even snowed our last day and we were able to use the sleds under the deck to slide around the front lawn. Perfect location to get to nearly any hike or water fall in the area. We have zero complaints, everything was better than we could have even imagined! We will definitely be back!

Property is beautiful, better suited for families with younger children.
Our stay was OK overall with a few things I wish we had known prior to booking. 1) There wasn't a microwave which had been pictured with photos of the property. We had planned meals for 6 people around using the microwave. 2) There was a couch pictured in the living room, but in reality there were only 2 chair which reduced our seating. 3) Trash was an issue, there were only 2 trash bags left for us and we were required to haul it away, except the recycle center was not open on Sunday at checkout. We had to take our trash in our vehicles with limited space. The property is beautiful but overall, it is questionable as to whether or not we would stay here again. It is better suited for a family with younger children.

Beautiful surroundings, the property was great. The heating blankets were a wonderful touch, as it got cold the day we arrived. The microwave didn't work, and though it wasn't necessary would have been helpful. I still haven't heard back from the contact regarding the microwave, not sure she even got the message. We also wish there was a couch in the living room, there were only 2 side chairs and a hard bench and hard chair. Overall we enjoyed our visit, and wish we had stayed longer.

This is a nice clean rental, away from the tourist areas, but within 30 minutes of multiple activities. No TV is a negative for college sports seasons. Wifi and cell service is not the best, so streaming is difficult. If you want to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature, then this is perfect.

Nice property but needs a little tweaking!!
Nice property to explore, especially the waterfall that is right down the road. House was clean and the s'mores kit provided was a special touch that is very thoughtful. There are a few downfalls though...all of the beds were hard and uncomfortable, there is no A/C in the loft/upstairs bedroom, and downstairs A/C was controlled by homeowner (asked if it could be adjusted some, as some people don't do well when it is too warm and was told that wasn't possible). A couple of other issues was the upstairs shower was not in working order, which we were made aware of, but when we arrived for our stay the couch was broken and didn't know this before arriving. This was disappointing as there is already minimal seating in the living room and this kept our group from being able to hang out in that space together. Listing did mention trash removal, just wish it was clearer that you actually have to g take to county dump upon check out, as it was a good bit away from the property (in our case, we were leaving on Sunday and county dump wasn't open; the property contact told us as long as it wasn't more than 3 bags, we could leave at the property which was much appreciated). Last thing I would mention is there is no TV service, which would be helpful with weather situations as there is no cell service (even Verizon as someone mentioned working, did not for this Verizon customer) and we had touchy weather off and on the whole stay and didn't have the ability to keep it checked.

July Vacation
Overall we had a good experience. The only downfall is the AC. The lowest you can set the thermostat is 72. If you are anything like me, a polar bear, this is hot. I had to buy an extra fan to help cool me down. Even with that, I still woke up in the middle of the night soaked from sweating. Also, the AC resets itself at midnight to 85 degrees. Ridiculous! This is something that needs to be fixed. You don’t spend the money that you do to stay somewhere on vacation to have the temp regulated and sweat to death! Very disappointing. Other than that, we had a blast. The small stream and trail were fun! Doug got in a fight with a skunk tho and we couldn’t get rid of that smell for a little while. Lol poor little fella.
