"My husband and I stayed in this lovely cabin for two nights and we wished we had booked it for more. The mountain view from the back porch was breathtaking. The cabin is perfectly located for access to Pine Valley Recreation Area and other nearby hiking trails. We were thrilled to enjoy our meals with views from the dining room windows of visiting wild turkeys, deer and hummingbirds. The place had plenty of room for the two of us, but could comfortably accommodate more."

"My husband and I booked the lodge and cabins for our wedding with 25 close family and friends. The Pine Valley Lodge was perfect. We had more than enough room and amenities were everything we needed. It wasn’t fancy by any means, but we didn’t want fancy. We wanted to enjoy nature and have a space to spend together for the long weekend. The kitchen space and bbq areas were especially nice for large gatherings while we cooked and played board games. We loved how much there was to do outdoors - basketball, a huge bonfire pit, and a lot of land and places close by to fish or hike around. I’d definitely recommend."

"Beatifull house in perfect location. The house is new, clean and decorated with taste. From the pictures on the listing we knew what to expect but when we get there our expectations were exceeded. The house have everything to feel like you are at home. We enjoyed the beatiful view every morning when we drink coffee in the backyard. We were lucky to see a deer crossing the road. If you like fishing there is 2 lakes very close and many trails if you are hiker. Everybody from our party hope we will come to visit soon again."

"It is not just the clean streams of pure water which traverse PV that hit you with a special 'punch' of delight. It is the place itself, and the special people there. My stay at the Petersen cabin was a cozy, rustic, nostalgic, 'cabin-y,' and an emotionally provoking experience. (Like always for my times in PV). And my hostess, again, as usual, was the best! "I can't say enough good things about this wonderful little vacation. First of all, the owners were super nice, polite, informative and communicative. The property itself far exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was so thoughtful. The snacks were such a generous touch. The decor is so cute and homey. My husband and I live about 45 miles away so it was a perfect little getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. It was our time to renew and rejuvenate. And this was the perfect place to do it.
