Great location away from the crowds

We were looking for a home away from the traffic and crowds and we found it here. You can walk out the door to the trailhead that leads to East Rim and Cable Mountain trails - we formed a loop from east rim out to observation point and then connecting to East ‘Mesa trail. The home was exceptionally clean and it felt new. The gas stove quickly made the cabin toasty after a day in the rain at Bryce, and we enjoyed making s’mores at the outdoor fire pit with the fixings that were left for us. The stargazing from the front deck was amazing and we loved having our dinner at the outside bar height table. The solarium is a great place to relax and play games. Plenty of beds and bedding and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Welcoming and easy to work with hosts, who took the time to answer Zion hiking questions that I had in advance of our trip.

    Perfect

This was our perfect home-away-from-home for 4 nights. We were 2 adults, a 7 yo and a 5 yo. It had the solitude and quiet we were looking for - no neighbors in view and you'll rarely hear a car go by. With access to the nearby Ponderosa Resort for activities like mini-golf, horse rides, swimming, etc, we could easily reward the kids after a long day of hiking. Its a quick (and beautiful) drive to the Zion visitor center. Don't miss the hike to Observation Point from the trailhead very near the house - it is a much less frequented trail that ends with stunning views, and no need to drive into the park. The house has 3 outdoor seating configurations (sunny area with gas firepit, shaded area, solarium), so you can be outdoors no matter the weather. Other than it's quiet, peaceful location, the house was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We would recommend this place to our friends.
