"This is a fun property for a friends or couples getaway in the summer because the pool and bar service were on point…walkable to a cute little town with bars and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff is super friendly! "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. Just love the setting, the tranquility, and the proximity to all that we wanted to do...our grandson's high school graduation, my 60th high school reunion, and visits with family and friends. I had not had a swim in the Croton River for many years; a dip in the river brought back childhood memories. Even enjoyed a day in NY including a Broadway show, "Hadestown," and dinner at Bobby Van's Grill. We appreciated Patrick's prompt response to any questions we had and we were grateful that he brought in an extra air conditioner as well as an evaporative air cooler (swamp cooler)...outside temperatures were in the 90's all week. He is a great host. We would stay at the carriage house again."

"First, The Hotel is Two (2) Stories High and is NOT a Large Hotel. There is NO ELEVATOR in The Hotel. If You have difficulty Walking Up and Down Stairs then Definitely Request a room on the First Floor!! The Building itself is Older - as many of the Smaller Hotels/ Motels throughout America are - especially those which were at One Time Ma and Pa Owned. HOWEVER, The Individual Rooms are Clean and so are the Common Areas of Fairbridge Inn. Additionally, The Bathrooms are Clean and the Plumbing all worked. All the Employees I personally Encountered were Very Gracious and eager to assist in any way they could. This included The Front Desk Personnel, the Maids, and even the woman working the Breakfast Dining Area. Everyone of them was Polite, Professional, and acted as though they wanted me and My wife to Enjoy our stay at Fairbridge Inn. I guess I should mention the bedding as both my Wife and I AGREED(which is Pretty Phenomenal itself) that the King Size Bed was both very Clean and COMFORTABLE - Quite a Feat Fairbridge - We also AGREED we Would Gladly stay there again!!!! "

"This property was perfect for a trip to NYC as it is located 5 minutes from the train station. We were able to take the train to Yankee Stadium and that was about 30 minutes. The train stops right at the stadium! We also took the train into Grand Central then took a short walk to Times Square to catch a Broadway Show. I highly recommend this place! "
