“My stay here was great, and the view over the town of Narvik and the mountains can't be beat in this area. The balcony of my room ended up being a perfect spot to take pictures of the northern lights during my stay. I came during the shoulder season so it wasn't super crowded. While I didn't personally take advantage of it, the kitchen was a great amenity that would be useful for those wanting to cook a small meal. “Excellent experience at the Svalbard Lodge. Room was clean, although a little outdated. Loved having a washer. The staff was great. We got tired of taking our shoes off every time we went from one building to the other, but that’s the way things are done in Longyearbyen. Dinner at the Polfareren was fabulous! “In unseren 4 Tagen waren wir wunschlos glücklich in unserem Appartement. Wir hatten eine schöne Aussicht ins Tal (kommt aber darauf an welches Appartement man bekommt), die Küche war ausreichend ausgestattet und man hatte einen kurzen Weg zu den Skihängen. Die Sauna ist super an kalten Tagen. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns, als wir Schlitten in unserem Aufbewahrungsraum gefunden haben. Top war auch, dass Aus- und Einchecken kontaktlos ist. ”
