The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, and Mariana on the staff was outstanding. She spent a significant amount of time trying to help us during a very difficult arrival. Unfortunately, one of the primary reasons we booked The Lumiares was because it offered parking. Prior to arrival, the hotel sent multiple updates regarding changing road restrictions and access routes. Despite following those instructions, we spent several hours attempting to reach the hotel. Even with assistance from hotel staff and local police, we were ultimately unable to access the hotel's parking solution and were directed to alternative parking instead. As a result, we lost most of our first evening in Lisbon, missed our reservation at the hotel's rooftop restaurant, incurred additional charges, and experienced damage to our rental vehicle during the process. What disappointed me most was not the construction itself, but management's response afterward. While the inconvenience was acknowledged, no meaningful resolution was offered beyond a future-stay discount. Beautiful property and excellent front-line staff, but unfortunately the arrival experience and follow-up response significantly impacted our stay.

I couldn’t fault the place! Everything was done to a T. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and kept everything very clean. They were always happy to help, and nothing was ever too big of an ask. The room was cleaned regularly and according to my requests, and everything was exactly as described. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back again! Highly recommended.

Highly recommend. Amazing location, very central. Very clean spacious suite. The concierge was also very quick to respond. In room laundry was also very handy. Has everything you can think of needing when travelling with kids.
