Location is good but renovations are needed particularly in the room. Carpet was sticky and bathroom floor dirty. Furniture was also worn out and bathroom door would not close. Also no fan for bathroom and only two towels were provided when there were four people in the room. A better cleaning job is definitely need as well. Common areas like the entry way and pool looked renovated but rooms do not meet the typical standards of Sandman Hotels. They also charge $100 deposit per night. Day staff were helpful nighttime staff need further training.

It was a quiet and cozy stay with a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Miles and John we're very helpful with the sign-in process. Will definitely stay again when we're back to Edmonton
