Getting around Edmonton

You may want to rent a car in Edmonton for more flexibility, but it’s not necessary, as most of the city is covered by a reliable public transportation system. Best time to visit

Summers in Edmonton can get very busy, but they undoubtedly have the best weather, with daytime temperatures of around 62 F (17 C). There are plenty of festivals and events to enjoy in the warmer months, too. For a more peaceful break, visit in late spring instead. Daytime temperatures at this time of year tend to be in the low 50s F (28 C and below), so do make sure you pack warm clothes.
