The pool is nice and a rare find. We went there each of our two days and there was nobody else using it. There was a free still and fizzy water machine in the basement, and a pod coffee machine and mini kitchen in the room. They even have free oranges at the front desk.

The room was beautiful and spacious. It is in a quieter area of Florence which is great for quiet nights sleeping. The property and pool were beautiful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet available at a reasonable price. The center of the city is about a 20 minute walk away but it is flat and easy to manage.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
Unfortunately, my stay at Forte16 View & Spa was disappointing. The check-in process wasn’t very welcoming, and I expected a friendlier experience. My room also had a strong cigarette odor that made it uncomfortable to stay. Due to health concerns related to the odor, I had to check out the same day I arrived. I contacted the hotel regarding a refund for the remaining nights but never received a response. Given the price of the stay, I simply expected more in terms of cleanliness, hospitality, and customer service.
