Our stay was our favorite so far! We loved having the ground unit for our 4 boys to have space to run around and play. It is a further walk to the beach than other units, but it’s still not too far while toting kids and all the beach things - and with our youngest boys ages 5,3, and 1- we loved being steps away from the splash pad where we spent every morning. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the awesome communication and helpful information throughout our stay. The whole family said we wanted to come back here to stay! Highly recommend the Waterscape for children and this particular unit was amazing

Our best stay in Fort Walton Beach to date

This was our third spring break in the area and of the three fantastic condos we’ve rented, this was our favorite! It was clean and spacious and the walk out to the pool area was a wonderful feature! My kids loved playing in the grassy area in front of the condo. (And of course they loved the heated pool, the lily pads, the lazy river, and all the other kids around!) The beach was stunning as usual, and we especially enjoyed the way the chairs were set up in a horseshoe so everyone had a front row view and it invited the children to play together. I’m sure we’ll be back!

We loved the condo and its cleaniness. Owners were very quick to response. We needed a light bulb change and they were right on it. Loved the location of the condo with kids.Plenty of outside room also. Close to pools We will be back next year. Thank you for a great place

Mini vacay

We enjoyed our stay here, everything was clean, comfortable and well maintained. My granddaughters enjoyed the pool area and lazy river. The only problem I had was with the set up of the umbrellas on the beach, personally I want to face the water when sitting on the beach and the chairs usually available are in a semi circle facing other people, this would not keep me from returning to the property, I just took my own beach chair so I could sit facing the water .

Home away from home

Our family had a wonderful one week vacation mainly due to the comfort and convenience of our condo-C205. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful. I had many questions before the trip and he answered immediately and was so pleasant! Not having a “check-in” process after a long day of travel was soooo nice! We went straight to the condo, put in the door code and as soon as we walked through the door felt right at home. The condo was very clean and tidy. Everything we needed in the kitchen was easy to find-it’s very well stocked with pots and pans, blender, coffee maker and kurig, cookie sheets, mixing bowls and every utensil we needed to cook every night. The master bed/bath was very clean and had extra blankets and pillows in the closet and a set of bath/hand towels and washcloths for all 6 of us. We did a load of laundry everyday and ended up putting all the bath towels in two big baskets provided in the hallway table because we all showered at different times of day and it was just convenient for us. The other half of our family was in C202 and these two units were located perfectly for us. We had a 5,3, and 1 yr old and the walkout unit opens up to a big yard area for the kids to play when we weren’t at the beach or the pools. The C units were furthest from the beach so we rented a wagon (party of 12-3 kids under 6) which we never even used! I haven’t covered pools yet but out of characters. They were excellent. Something for everyone!

Great Stay!

Overall we had a great stay. The property was kid friendly and the beach is beautiful. We were disappointed that the front lawn, which we had planned to have as an option to play before pools open, was wet and muddy every day we were there. Other than that the condo was stocked with everything we needed and they allowed us to check in early. Would recommend!

Great Stay

It was a great stay!! Great place. We just wished we could be closer to ice cream shops, town etc. But overall the resort and room was great for our family. We will definitely be back.

WE WILL BE BACK!

We are beachgoers. Every year we come to the beach at least 3 or 4 times. Usually Pensacola Beach, but for this last minute trip, we decided to go down to Ft Walton Beach and I'm so glad we did! We absolutely loved the condo, the condominiums, the water park, and the beach. This condo is literally steps from the kiddie splashpad area and it was absolutely perfect for our 3 yo and 1 yo. Our days went something like this: 8:30 - Water park; 11:00 - Lunch and naptime; 1:30 - Water park; 4:00 - get ready for supper and then bed time afterwards. It was awesome and our 2 boys loved it. They were so wore out every day they slept good every night! The condo was well stocked. It had a Keurig (every condo should, but they don't). It's actually 3 rooms if you count the bunk beds in the laundry room. WE LOVED IT!

Great Vacation

We have stayed at Waterscape several times, but it had been a few years since we'd been there. The property and pools were just as awesome as we remembered. The kids had a great time! Our condo was very nice and had everything we needed.

Not the best

Communication with owners was great, really appreciated letting us in 2 hours early. The pool and beach access was nice. However, the property was not clean, there were 2 rolls of toilet paper for 8 people. The pool was insanely overcrowded.

Host provided an excellent pre-arrival information email with door code, gate code, parking pass, etc. Pool/beach access bracelets were in the property upon arrival and property was clean and ready early. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay! Others have commented about the location being near the fire station: true, you will hear sirens on occasion but it is always brief and in my opinion not bothersome.

Great play area

We had a wonderful vacation. This property was as expected and as advertised. Being so close to the baby play area was great for our young grandkids. Very convenient with the large area off the patio to play. The only problem we encountered was the dryer would not run. It was reported so hopefully it is fixed now.

Love Waterscape but needs to be cleaned

The decor is beautiful. The condo is very well equipped. Loved the counter space. However, there was dust in this unit on the baseboards, closet doors, fans, etc. the floors felt sandy and the washer and dryer smelled soured. There was hair on our towels and sheets, so I think the laundry units are just not getting them clean. The air wouldn’t go below 75. I contacted the manager and he communicated immediately and sent a repairman. Repair guy came and emptied sludge but it still wouldn’t cool. I’ve never left a bad review in my life, and really didn’t want to this time. But when I am concerned with letting my toddler play in the floor in a unit we paid a lot for, something should be done. Our second day there a cleaning lady opened our door twice with no knock. She said our unit was on her schedule to clean. So I’ve thought maybe they just got the schedule wrong and didn’t clean it before we got there. There were new bracelets, towels were hung and amenities promised were new and provided though, so I don’t think that was the case. This unit could be amazing if they could get it cleaned and cooled.

Clean unit, but consider location

While we’ve stayed here at the resort many times before, we didn’t mind staying back in the C building this year since rooms were barely available. It was still a great time on the beach. Room is very nice and a spacious kitchen. One thing I’d keep in mind is the main unit door location. It and several others are the closest ones to the fire dept. right across the street. When we checked in on Saturday afternoon, we must have heard the sirens go off a dozen times. There’s not much of a door sweep/ noise insulation to muffle that noise. I could clearly see daylight under it. Fixing that might help muffle the noise from the sirens. Otherwise they are amplified through the parking garage to the unit. Saturday was the worst , but it still went on almost every day at least once. If you don’t mind that sort of thing, thing this is a great bargain unit. If you have little ones, that will be sleeping in the bunk beds 4 feet from that door, you may want to consider if this will pose a problem with noise. Dryer dried out loads, but after 2 cycles. Main bed is getting some sags in the sleeping spots. Still doable. Toaster…. Maybe it will toast, maybe it won’t.
