The property is in an excellent location near Hakata station and right beside Canal city. There is an convenience store about 5min away. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. One thing to remember is paying the tourist tax. Bring smaller change or be ready to pay it with credit card at check-in.

I’ve stayed here twice in the last four months. Really enjoy having a kitchen and a balcony with a beautiful river view, and the city view will be returning here again soon.

Location is good. There are some famous restaurants nearby. Shopping mall is just few minutes by walking. Accommodation is comfortable. It's a good choice when stay in Hakata.

Very quiet apartment with gorgeous river view! Walkable distance to Hakata Station (ard 10mins), big shopping just few minutes walk. Moving upwards for 5 mins & cross the bridge then you will arrive the famous Fukuoka Market Stall & night market!

Our second stay at Alfacio Riverside Stay Hakata, but quality has dropped since the October management change. Self-check-in works fine until you need help. We found a bedside socket cracked with exposed live wires a clear safety hazard and the in-room tablet was dead. With no staff on site, contacting anyone meant submitting a digital form. A new note taped inside the toilet urged on-time checkout and reminded guests to sign out of Netflix/YouTube, yet our room had no smart TV or streaming service at all. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but basic safety and function failed. Once reliable, now neglected.

Spacious room with nice river view

Spacious room with nice river view. White goods are very useful during stay with family. Two double beds with foldaway sofa is good also good two. Dishes, cutlery and pots and frypan are ready for small cooking. But, email for check in procedure and passcode is not clear explanation. And room free wifi password is provided upon request. I spent nice holiday with Alfacio riverside stay. And fast response through email was very good.

Just okay stay

One night was enough. There's no staff on premises so we clearly misunderstood the situation. Our fault. Though we are active seniors, this place seems better suited for young people. The room is spacious enough and view of the river is very nice. It's clean and has a washer/dryer but no English instructions so useless for us. Towels are flimsy and only one sub-par pillow per person. Very cheap amenities. Location is okay but expect to walk a lot as nothing is within a couple of blocks. Pre -check-in luggage storage is NOT adequate. Should cost less per night.

This is my second stay at ALFACIO RIVERSIDE STAY HAKATA and definitely, if I have to visit Fukuoka again and have the opportunity - I would choose this place to stay again. Clean, quiet, safe, offers all the amenities for a stay. Perfectly equipped and maintained. With a view of the river. Wide space. Ideal location in the center of Hakata. Close to Canal City and about 10-15 minutes walking distance from Hakata. This gives many options for shopping and dining. There is also a budget supermarket across the river and 24-hour shops nearby. There is also a subway stop nearby to Canal City, as well as buses within a short distance.
