The modern design house consists of two bedrooms with large areas much and solarentos. The double bedroom has a balcony facing south, the bay of Funchal, with chairs and hammock for relaxing. Besides the magnificent view you can enjoy the sun all day and watch the fireworks on festive seasons.
The second bedroom has two double beds. This floor has full bathroom.
Downstairs is the dining room and living room, a service bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and access to a very cozy patio with garden chairs.
The change of bed linen and towels and housekeeping is weekly. You can request extra service of daily monitoring cleaning, with additional payment.
We can also arrange airport taxi transfers with reliable driver, babysitter service, sea surf activities, paddle, sup, windsurfing, boat down the coast for dolphin watching and other marine animals, recommended and paid for locally.
Convent of Santa Clara, Museum of crosses, English Church, Church of St. John the Evangelist from Funchal College, Cathedral of Funchal among many buildings, museums and moments that you can easily visit on foot without the need for transport. As well as the shops and restaurants and bars in town.

Best rental in Funchal

Hugo is a great host full of little attentions in the rental place and always present for any questions. The appartment in great, a few minutes from centre of Funchal with a stunning view.

A wonderful host, a lovely house and a great location

Looking out over old Funchal towards the harbour, the house has panoramic views south over the Atlantic and across Funchal. Hugo, our host, was kind, generous and attentive, leaving us small gifts and treating us to a poncha in nearby Camara de Lobos. Highly recommended for relaxation and location.

2 wonderful patios in this unit. Great kitchen facilities for cooking - even sharp knives. Very quiet at night. Lots of coffee and restaurants within 5 min walk. Hugo is very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again

2 decks, well appointed, and wonerful host

2 outdoor decks were very nice, great location, could walk to downtown Funchal but took taxi back each night. The grades of the streets are upwards of 45%.

Highly recommended value for money

The house lived up to expectations and the landlord, Hugo, was way above expections. He gave a very good introduction to the house and he was extremely helpful during our stay. Hugo even had bought beers for his guests to consume free of charge. View from upper terrasse is really good. Close to city center and harbour via a bit steep roads. Could be an improvement with a larger table at the upper terrasse. Only minus were a few bugs in the bathrooms.

Place was great. The host was very friendly and welcoming. My only complain is the location. It’s on a hilly neighborhood. It is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Grande maison d’artiste sur les hauteurs de Funchal

De beaux espaces confortables, une vue imprenable, deux terrasses spacieuses et une très belle décoration, mais un environnement gâché par les aboiements des chiens des voisins et, peut-être un petit problème de canalisations. Un accueil chaleureux de Hugo. Une très bonne adresse à recommander !!

Well equipped spacious property with great views

Hugo is a very obliging and cheerful host. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The rooms were very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. There are great views of Funchal from the property. It is located close to the centre but is up a steep hill.

Schöner Urlaub in Funchal

Hugo ist ein toller Host. Wir würden mit viel Herzlichkeit empfangen und hat uns alles erklärt zum Haus. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, man ist in 10 Minuten mitten in der Altstadt und der Ausblick vom Balkon ein Traum. Absolut zu empfehlen. DaHaus hat einen traumhaften Blick auf den Hafen

Haus T 2

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Die Wohnung ist groß und sehr sauber. Bei zwei Wochen Aufenthalt gab es eine Zwischenreinigung. Der Blick zum Hafen vom Balkon hat uns besonders gefallen. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig in der Altstadt, man kann zu Fuß ins Zentrum laufen.

Great host

Ideal property for the two of us for an extended break. Everything you need in an apartment. Hugo is one of the nicest people you can meet and does every thing he can to ensure you have a great time. The position in the old town is ideal. The view from the balcony is better than the photos

Wonderful views and spacious apartment

Wonderful views over the city and harbour. We really appreciated big balcony and terrace and well equipped kitchen. Hugo welcoming and easy to contact. Location not suitable for those with mobility issues or children in buggies etc due to steep hill!

A home from home

Maison conforme à l’annonce. Rien ne manque. Hugo est disponible et aux moindres petits soins. Il est très gentil. Les extérieurs sont vraiment un plus. Merci à lui pour les bières dans le frigo ! C’était très bien

Belle location dans vieux Funchal

Belle maison très bien équipée Décoration originale Hôte très sympathique. Produits de première nécessité fournis. Hugo nous a offert plusieurs petits présents. Nous avons eu chaud la nuit car pas de climatisation mais des ventilateurs sont à disposition . Pb d évacuation et d odeur au niveau des toilettes. La literie serait à remplacer car fatiguée La place de parking est dans un immeuble voisin Le retour à l appartement est un peu sport à pied ou en voiture car les rues dans le vieux Funchal sont étroites et pentues. L.ideal est de descendre à pied et de remonter en taxi (8 euros maximum le soir) Il faut aussi préciser que beaucoup de chiens aboient dans le quartier... + cadeaux

Hugo est un homme adorable, généreux et aux petits soins. Sa maison est agréable et spacieuse et les extérieurs sont un plus. Près du centre , en 5 min à pieds. Les inconvénients : l'accès en voiture très compliqué dans la rue (conseil se garer plus haut et gratuit) et surtout les chiens qui sont nombreux à japper une grande partie de la nuit (boules caisses obligatoires). Hormis c'est deux inconvénients Hugo et sa maison sont vraiment top :)
