"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.

"Only complaint would be pillows, for me, flat firm pillows dont work. Staff is the best! They were always Super helpful. Location is good...close to the Barbican, aquarium, and waterfront. Room was very clean, well appointed and had great black-out drapes."

"The bar area was stylish and welcoming with a warming fire. The staff were friendly and accommodating which gave a relaxed atmosphere. Food was great (1 Sunday roast and 2 steaks) and reasonably priced. We had a 1 night stay in a courtyard room which was a good size and perfect as we had a dog with us. A decent breakfast set us up for the next day. Highly recommend."
"Lovely hotel, lovely room, friendly staff. Recommend to book the three course menu (changes regularly) for dinner at the hotel. I had venison ragout and rack of lamb as main and both were superb. Dinner room is a cosy place, good wine list. Dinner was preceded by some drinks at the hotel bar which, for the size of the hotel has an excellent selection of spirits at very good value-for-money prices. You select your breakfast choices in the evening from an offer ring of various fresh juices, tea pot or cafeteria of coffee and a full English (or various alternatives). Overall we enjoyed our short stay a lot and will return if/once back in the area."
Charming character cottage in Kingston, Kingsbridge, Devon, England
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely, homely cottage, which is close to some wonderful beaches. The cottage is very well equipped and we would be happy to return. Thank you. "
""Great for a female solo traveller I took myself off to Devon for a well needed solo break."
The Loft was cosy and clean. I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder Cafe, it is so lovely, staff were brilliant and the food is excellent too, tip, don't eat before your visit, the portions are really generous. I assume to stay here you would need to be able to drive and the pretty Devon roads can be quite unforgiving on your car if you have a little one like me. ALWAYS pay attention on these roads, you often have to stop to let vehicles through as the roads are quite narrow. Hot water was instantly available in the shower, bathroom and kitchen. I would recommend to any solo travellers looking to explore Devon. Another tip if you are not used to the country life, take wellies and comfy boots if travelling in winter. Thank you Giles and Emma."
"The room was nice, and the hospitality was excellent from the landlady. Breakfast was a really welcome treat, and I was happy that it was included in the good value price I paid. Thanks "
"Whilst the staff were lovely, as was the food, the hotel needs a little bit of TLC. The headboard on my bed was loose and the bathroom shower had a bit of mould on both the shower curtain and the shower roof. My room was also directly in front of the road and the traffic seemed to go on and on all night. "

Although situated behind a pub it was very quiet.
