“This apartment had the most surreal views! It was lovely and clean and comfortable as well. It’s a shared space but you have your own room and bathroom and the other guests were nice and didn’t disturb us at all. But the reason we rate this place so highly is because of the incredible host, Ludgero. We got in an unfortunate accident on our first day (please drive carefully on the roads) and our host offered to pick us up from the hospital and checked in with us the next day. We were overwhelmed……

“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“A very peaceful location with great proximity to the airport and near a pleasant village. It is a tidy and compact cottage that was perfect for our family and Patricia was very helpful. It was pleasant to sit outside the cottage and enjoy the lush greenery. It's best not to let kids wander up the driveway toward the main house as there are large guard dogs that can surprise you.”
