“The venue was good, but could have used better daily cleaning, more ease of finding parking, and an actual beach view that wasn't obstructed by a tree. The noise level at night was also difficult at times when trying to sleep (due to other guests, not just street driving).
The location was fabulous with many nearby options of food and attractions, making it easy to get around.”

“Very good sized apartment in a good location, within walking distance to the marina, old town, restaurants and a nearby shopping centre with a supermarket. Simple check in process via a door code. Very quiet in the evenings. The shower is large but due to the set up the water does spill over as there is no shower door. The apartment got warm which was ok in April with the plug in fan but would likely be too hot in the summer with no air con”

“I had an incredible stay at Pier House during my recent trip to Funchal. I actually ended up staying here three times over the course of the trip, which says it all.
Andre was an excellent host — genuinely kind, welcoming, and always helpful. He really made the experience feel personal and comfortable.
The rooms were fantastic — spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. I had some of the best nights’ sleep here, which is exactly what you want after long days exploring and……

“Stayed for 8 days
Unfortunately when I got my confirmation we were on the third floor pretty high 6 flights of stairs no lifts which we were unaware of so something to consider when booking
Bed was comfortable room cleaned every third day also towels were replaced
Kitchen was small but ok except the small microwave was on a shelf about 5 and half feet high so you would need to step stool to safely use it but no step stool provided
It was convenient close to Madeira mall and super market……

“Hotel ist sehr guter Lage mit tollem Frühstück im Schwesterhotel (5Sterne)
schöne Poollandschaft mit Gym, Whirlpool und Indoor-Pool
tolle Aussicht, alles sehr hochwertig
