"What a fantastic experience it was staying here. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. "After reading other reviews and looking at pictures, we were very disappointed by our stay here. Upon arrival at the property, we had to wait to be greeted. When We walked into the property, all of the curtains were shut, and it was very dark and had a strange vibe. When we were shown to our room, it was in a bleak state. The bathroom needed repair and overall the room was not clean. I had to plug my charger in under the bed and you could tell that it had not been cleaned properly in a long...

"Overall the hotel itself is excellent, the staff, the facilities and the food.....an excellent hotel. The only negative does not relate to the hotel itself maybe more about the city of Kandy, its very nosey and busy, we were hounded by local traders and drivers all day which compared to other parts of the country we would not have the same experienceits "

"We stayed one night here. It was a nice upgrade from other hotels we have stayed in within Sri Lanka and for a lower price. Nice spacious bathroom, with all toiletries supplied. Nice views from the pool/restaurant area. Really enjoyed the breakfast (not included in price). Walking distance to Kandy lake. Only downside was the limited view which looked into an inside courtyard."
