"Isolée au fond d une toute petite impasse cette guesthouse est protégée des bruits de la rue. Accueil souriante de la gérante un bébé dans les bras qui pleurera toute la nuit événement isolé évidemment. Première nuit dans la chambre du RdC sans fenêtre ou il a fallu réclamer la clim pourtant comprise dans ma réservation, plutôt bruyante donc. "After staying at the Marino Resort Hotel I decided to book Marina Hotel advertised as a 5 star. From start I was disappointed the staff were some how unwelcoming. This hotel I think caters for local people above all muslim as its dry bar which they dont highlight in the advertisement. I have to be first in saying hello at the counter as they just stay steering at me. I tryed the dinner buffet overal was ok but if I was Italian I will be crying when I tryed the creamy pasta it had so much chili. Overall the hotel is in great location, prices are good, is in good condition but it needs to work more in customer service. "

"Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. Won’t be booking with them again. The only good thing was the beach was close to the hotel and easy access. Staff were excellent and very friendly too "

"An excellent, excellent stay at the Galle Face Hotel. The staff were so kind and attentive, especially the entire guest relations team of Darshi, Viduni, Kithara, Dinushi, and Ivoni, who surprised us with a gorgeous setup for our anniversary, and Kenan who gave us a special hotel 'heritage tour.' We stayed 2 days, but the kids were so sad to leave. The breakfast was expansive and delicious, and the swimming pool is apparently the only hotel salt pool in Sri Lanka. The sunset viewing area is beautiful and just everything about this hotel was wonderful."
