"Isolée au fond d une toute petite impasse cette guesthouse est protégée des bruits de la rue. Accueil souriante de la gérante un bébé dans les bras qui pleurera toute la nuit événement isolé évidemment. Première nuit dans la chambre du RdC sans fenêtre ou il a fallu réclamer la clim pourtant comprise dans ma réservation, plutôt bruyante donc. "Firstly the staff was fantastic, helpful friendly and polite. Food was exceptional both for breakfast, evening meal and afternoon tea. Watch the curries they are proper spicy compared to England. Roof top pool and bar great at sunset. Several different restaurants and all very good quality. The rooms are fantastic spacious and comfortable. They have thought of everything. If you are in Colombo it is worth a stay."

"Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. Won’t be booking with them again. The only good thing was the beach was close to the hotel and easy access. Staff were excellent and very friendly too "
