Ready to lose yourself in a mountain getaway? This gorgeous Government Camp rental cabin is dog-friendly, has room for 12, and is close to the ski slopes!

With a fabulous location just blocks from downtown Government Camp and a few miles from Timberline Ski Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, and SkiBowl, this home is ideal for outdoor adventurers. There are a few sweet bars and restaurants to peruse in Govy, plus several other mountain towns nearby!

The living room is relaxed and welcoming with several leather couches, a pellet stove to warm up next to, and a flatscreen TV with cable and Netflix streaming! Opening up to the kitchen and dining areas, there are eight spots at the beautiful dining table under high ceilings, as well as four places at the breakfast bar. The full kitchen is pristine with stainless steel amenities, granite countertops, and tons of room to spread out.

The two bedrooms on the main level are now at queen bed in one and a full bed in the other. The large room upstairs now has two queen beds and a bunk bed with a twin on the top and a full on the bottom and a pullout twin under the full. The other two bedrooms are the same, each with a queen bed.

Outside, you'll find a small patio with a gas grill, and the large driveway and yard is great for kids or the dogs to run around in! For an additional fee, you can bring your dogs here, and there's also a private washer/dryer, WiFi, Blu-Ray, and a CD player for your convenience.

This home would be great for a family reunion or a group of friends to enjoy together! With close ski access, you can spend all day out on the slopes, and the surrounding mountains provide endless opportunity to explore! Whether it's winter or summer, there's so much to do in this stunning area.

Property Company Canceled and gave NO Refund
We never got to stay here. We had a big family group fly in from the east coast to surprise my partner for his 50th bday. We drove to the locate and were a little less than 2hrs from checkin time, so we went to a restaurant to eat and hangout. While there i recieved an email from the company saying that our house was uninhabitable due to possible power outages. I wasnt able to get anyone on the phone so i started texting the number I got all my checkin information from that morning. While waiting we drove over to the house since we were in town. The company text me to confirm that the house was uninhabitable and they were canceling our whole reservation. We drove to the house and there was electricity and the lights were on. There were no foot prints in the snow around the house at all showing anyone was there. When i told them this they, the response was a possible wind storm was coming in that night so the power could go out. They again said my reservation was canceled. With all the family and a car full of food for our stay we had to drive all the way back to our house. I call the company that monday of what would have been our checkout day to discuss my refund. After talking with multiple people and being on the phone all day. They refused to provide any type of refund at all. They got a few thousand dollars for me and were out nothing themselves. I have informed all of my friends and family to never rent from this company. They do not care about their customers at all.

Great location. Not very clean.
The location was great and there were so many kitchen appliances except the ONE we needed…a coffee maker! It was listed as an amenity but it was nowhere to be found. There were a lot of dishes in the kitchen that were not clean and the dish towels had a weird stale smell. There were two large bags of laundry in the entryway with a note from the house keeper saying they would pick them up as well as the garbage - this did not happen. The trash compactor was full when we got there and the trash right outside the door was full and smelled terrible. If it wasn’t for the cleanliness the house would have been perfect. But when you’re paying this much for a house, you expect at the very least, it’s clean when you get there.

Great Family Reunion House
5 Bedrooms, one of which is a great bunkroom for the kids....Well appointed/large kitchen...Big dining room table for meals and evening games....WiFi was not good and no TV reception, but Blu-Ray player worked for movies.... We booked it again for next year....so that's the best "thumbs-up" I can give!

Fun white christmas
We had a large family gathering here for Christmas. The cabin was exceptionally well stocked and the size of the cabin was perfect for our large group. The location was perfect too. The only downside was that the parking area was down a steep hill and with all the snow you couldn’t park more than one vehicle near the cabin.
