Early April is not the best time to go to a cabin with no power if you are comfort loving like me, but the cabin was clean with a nice big bed for me and my daughter and very comfortable. There was a gas heater that because it was so cold (for April) it only took the chill off in the early hours, but at least it did that. "The property was so beautiful! My boyfriend and I wanted to go hiking with our dog to get out of the city. This place was perfect and it was so nice with all of the fall leaves. We went to the wineries near by and were able to make a camp fire right next to our cabin. Everything was so clean and the cabin was the perfect size. We hope to go back in the spring or summer. "Our stay at the Quiet Spot" was amazing. So many places to visit around the area. Surrounded by waterfalls and lakes, they give us an opportunity for pleasant drives. The house is wonderfully enchanted with trees set all around on a huge piece of land. Our hosts, Mindy and Steve have bird feeders and suet around the house for us to bird watch.
