It was interesting, a bit creepy given its history.They simply do not provide a level of service to warrant the price. The restaurant wasn’t open. The bar, even when there were only four other customers, took half an hour to get a glass of wine. Snail pace service, grounds need work, amenities are nearly non-existent. The staff were very nice, but not properly trained or up for the task. The history is interesting, but very sad. Over embracing the asylum backstory makes the guests uncomfortable.

Great hotel and location. Large room. And shower what great pressure and hot water. Parking was across the street. A couple good restaurants within walking distance.
