“This cottage has a really nice vibe very clean and ideally situated for visiting Thirsk and the local communities. The market square is a few short steps away The railway station is a pleasant 30 minutes walk away, but it does have a bus service if the weather is not too good The cottage is spread over 3 storeys and is modern kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and sitting/living room is 1st floor and bedroom top floor. “Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small.”

“The hotel was still being built on arrival. I had not been sent any instructions on how to access the building so could not get in for the first hour. When I left my room during the afternoon and returned, workers from the hotel were in my room removing a fridge. They accepted they should have checked with me first but this meant I left the hotel a night early as I did not feel safe in my room.”
