"The grounds were not only well kept with attractive plantings, the entrance to the hotel was decorated with seasonal flowers, making it especially welcoming. The lobby was super clean and inviting, the desk clerk was friendly, and the pool looked wonderful (though I did not use it - wish there was a hot tub!) Instead, we booked a room with a jetted tub and relaxed in it privately. The breakfast was better than most places with nuts, craisins, and granola for atop my yogurt. Also, I appreciated having a variety of fruit choices: bananas, apples, and oranges! Loved our stay! It was a quiet sleep in spite of being on the first floor and having the highway close by. Also, 3 nearby restaurants offer 10% off if you are staying at the Comfort Inn. We took advantage of that! "

"Nice place to stop if you need a nights stay. Right beside Kroger so perfect to walk over and get snacks for the room. Heater was broken for the pool, which we were told of at check in. Still stinks because we were looking forward to that. Room didn’t have a remote for the tv but the front desk was happy to get me a new one"

Unable to get the room we prepaid for and had to stay elsewhere but things happen and the young lady behind the desk was friendly and professional while taking a beating for something beyond her control. She was handling it well as we left and a line was forming. I called back a little later and she indicated the outage was nationwide. Hampton is still top notch. Now getting Hotels.com to step up with a refund."
