"An OK stay, common areas are a little tired, first morning we waited 20 mintes for someone to bring a menu and take our order, second morning was better. Great location with easy access to North York Moors."

"The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"A great little place to chill out. Location brilliant for accessing beaches/ harbours and forest walks. Good selection of pubs / takeaways and little cafÃ©s. Hot tub a real bonus ! Beds very comfy ....perfect !"
