The motel owners have decorated in alot of rodeo/cowboy/western motif & memorabilia. I found it to be a very comfortable environment. The elderly staff were charming and helpful. The room was ground level & I appreciated that without having to disclose my medical condition of emphysema. The room was clean, but at first there was a strong odor of stale, wet mops...after I turned on the AC, it wasn't noticeable. There was 2 beds...the one nearest the door was a much firmer mattress...the other bed felt like a pillow top, which was more agreeable for me. The TV was a little confusing trying to turn on with the remote...after a few tries, I turned it on manually on the TV itself. When I was leaving the following morning, I turned the set off manually the same way. The remote was useful for Chanel guide & changing the stations. There was enough bath towels, wash cloths for 1 person...that was all of my party anyway. The bathtub/bathroom was clean & sanitary...ready to be used...but I would like to add that the fixtures were antiquated but functioning...the bathtub looked like it had been painted with a paintbrush at some point in its past. The only thing I didn't care for was the people loitering outside their rooms at 10 pm, children walking around the parking lot at that hour (looked to be 5-7 years old)...I did worry about the safety of my locked vehicle overnight...but it was fine the next morning. I would stay there again & I would recommend it to other travelers ..

Basic cheap hotel.

Gps wont take you straight there, not their fault, but good to know. Room clean, but floors were sticky wet. Maybe used too much bleach? Overall, typical dirt cheap hotel. Worth the money. No more.

What I didn’t like was when we arrived after 5 hours of driving they told me I didn’t have a room. Me and another guest behind me went through the same thing. We had to wait 15 minutes in the cold while they researched. Then they told us to pay and we said but we already paid online. They said that Expedia needs to start letting the guest know we are only securing the room online. And we ay once we there. I feel like when someone checks in after 12am the room should be prorated. Also the rooms need refrigerator and microwave.

This property had a severely dirty pool no iron or ironing board not even to use from front office. For the amount of people in the rooms there was no extra toilet paper the tub w as dirty with a ring around it. Also there was not a microwave and a fridge in the room. They did not honor the expedia pricing stated that it was wrong and there rooms were 49.99 everyday. I will never ever stay there again.

The images of the facility on the website looked a lot more pleasing that the actual building. I was dissappointed tremendously when I drove up. I asked the clerk to let me the room first, she said they do not show rooms. I said good night and I got the hell out there

When I booked this hotel, I was expecting a quality at least that of a Econolodge or Motel 6. I could not have been more wrong. On check-in, the staff could not find my Travelocity reservation, and I ended up having to pay more for the room with one less bed. The staff then requested a cash key deposit, as they still use real keys. This caught me off guard, as I do not usually carry cash. Fortunately I was able to work this out with the staff member on duty. Upon entering the room, it was obvious that housekeeping was lax in their duties. In addition to hairs and soap bubbles on the bathroom wall, there was a used washcloth still hanging over the shower curtain rack. In the actual room, there were dust bunnies all over the place, and a ladies earring was found by the bed. Fortunately, we had a phone charger with multiple ports, as there was only one electrical outlet available in the whole room. There was a wired smoke detector in the sink area, but it had been dislodged from its base, with wiring exposed. The power indicator light was off. I didn't test it, but from years of fire inspection experience, I'm pretty sure it didn't work. I will be avoiding this hotel the next time I'm in Hammond.

Room was clean but bathroom was in desperate need of updates and the ac/heat took forever to do its job as it is a window unit cut into the wall. All that being said for the price and location it did its job As far as being a decent room at a great price.
