"The property is in a great location. The room was comfortable. This was early in the season, but I wish that they had breakfast and coffee at the hotel instead of giving a voucher for breakfast. "

"We simply cannot say enough about this property! The owners are obviously interested in the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. The amenities are plentiful - so many things we brought were already provided. The kitchen is so well stocked with quality equipment, dishware, etc. that we all wanted to stay! They even provided bird seed and suet if we wanted so we could enjoy the birds as we enjoyed the outdoor environment. The town of Lanesboro was fun and so nice to be able to park our cars and walk every where we wanted to go. Our group always go to a different place every year but this place truly temps us to repeat! Thank you so much Jill & Jim for an amazing location!"

"This was my 2nd time here with my cousin. We love this cabin so much. It’s far enough away from people and town but not too far that we couldn’t go do things. The area is so beautiful with all of its hills and farms. We went to 4 state parks in 4 days and did a lot of hiking and exploring. We will definitely be back."

"The person at the front desk was awesome. I had forgotten there is not an elevator to the second floor. My husband and I were arguing at the bottom of the stairwell about who was going to carry our 5 pieces of luggage. Since he is 91 I did not want him to carry them up and he did not want me to carry them. The young woman at the desk apparently overheard us and offered the last room on first floor, a handicapped room. That was perfect for us! Finally we had a room with adequate electrical outlets, the water pressure was great, there was a bench to sit on in the bathroom, and the room was clean. Thank you!"

"The staff was very personable and check in was handled efficiently. The room was clean and all the necessary furnishings There were a number of small concerns. The refigerator made a trilling noise when the cooling cycle kicked in and it sounded like an alarm and woke me up. One of the outside entry doors did not require a keycard during the day but we didn't use that entrance in the evening to check it again. There were spots on the shower curtain and a bedspread. A towel had a torn corner and a wash cloth was stained. Breakfast options were good. Overall everything was fine considering the very reasonable rate."
