“We rate Green Gable 10/10! It was a beautiful place to stay! It was top notch! Friendly and welcoming staff, room was very clean and comfortable, the landscaping was beautiful with all the flowers and areas to sit outside to enjoy that overlooks the Root River. Lanesboro had many nice shops and restaurants, a very historic town! We enjoyed spending 2 days on the bike trail We will be planning a trip back!”

“This hotel was VERY clean inside and out!! There is a pretty sitting area in the back. Very welcoming. We stayed Labor Day weekend, and even with it being busy, it was quiet. I asked at the front desk for another blanket and the woman quickly got one for me. Sunday morning breakfast had many more options than Monday morning. However, both days were good. “We were traveling through the area and needed a place to stop: this hotel attracted me with a great rate and good reviews. We were generally pleased with our stay at this out of the way place. There was no elevator to the second floor that we could find. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. We found the older mini fridge turned off but it turned on just fine. The air conditioner controls were worn out, but after some fiddling we were comfortable. Good place for a basic stay if that's all……
