"there are some areas that need work in the buildings … our building has a huge area that is falling off the building and our Air conditioning was horrible. The staff is outstanding .. loved the salt pool and the golf is awesome. As a matter of fact the use of safe methods to keep the greens beautiful but without dangerous run off is so great. It is spendy there and we would love to stay a week but may be too spendy. The food is great there too. "

"This was a 3 days stop over on a longer road trip. The resort is big with lots of amenities. Our stay included 4th of july so was very busy. At times was difficult to find parking and restaurant reservations were tough. One of the bedrooms had an amazing view of lake superior. Reading a book while looking out the window was a perfect combo. The lake walk was also fabulous. We didnt bring our dogs but seems to be very pet friendly. "The accommodations in the “Eagles Nest” were perfectly fine for our 2 night stay. If we go again we would try to get one of the cabins for a more secluded stay as they are a little bit away from the lodge vs staying in the lodges. Overall the property and room were very quiet, the owners were very nice and it was perfect for seeing the Black Bears in Orr, MN."

"We were in the area for the weekend for a wedding. This was so much more pleasant than getting 2 hotel rooms. It felt like we actually got a little vacation being at Flickabirds. Fast and easy communication. Would recommend"

"Any complaint here is minor, but the overhead living room fan and several light fixtures (upper hallway) did not work. Also, we did not have firewood. Both minor issues and easily fixed. Thank you!"
