It was very dirty. We didnt take our shoes off at all in the room. the hallways and rugs were gross. Stained carpets, horrible smell in hallways, holes in blankets, not clean at all. We quickly checked in, Jason was very nice, then left. There was mouse/rat poop on the floor of the vanity. There was no housekeeping during our stay. They left one small bottle of shampoo and one small bar of soap for two people for three nights. No change of towels. They should at least have left three sets of towels for each person, if they were intending not to service us during the stay. As a security feature, you supposedly needed the room key to access the building from outside. However, the door did not close in the first place, leaving us feeling very vulnerable. Also, we had to really yank on the door to the room to make sure it was closed, as it did not fully close on its own. We made sure we used all the locks on the door to prevent intruders coming in. Lobby closed at 9 and despite confirming the reservation earlier that evening, took about 30 minutes to get in contact with anyone to check in. After showering I felt dirtier than I started. Everything was very worn, stained, gross, and smelly. Everything reeked of cigarettes even in a non smoking room. The beds were super uncomfortable.
