The lady who owned the property was nice. She let us know where everything was and her dog was super sweet and walked with us to our room. The property itself was much older and not maintained well, but if she was the groundskeeper too I’d say it would be hard to manage. We couldn’t find a way to Lock the door from the outside, which was an issue if we left to go somewhere. Town wasn’t far from the property but not really walkable. The room wasn’t dirty per-say, but hadn’t been swept well and was just older and dusty. We didn’t meet up for breakfast, we just got up and left early. I would have much rather saved money and stayed at a hotel.

The coffee for the self-serve breakfast was lukewarm but "drinkable."

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Lexington Elwood Hotel & Suites, which I booked through your website from January 7th to January 9th, 2025 After a long journey that began at 3:00 am, I arrived at the hotel looking forward to taking a relaxing bath in the tub. However, upon entering the bathroom, I was unpleasantly surprised to find the area around the soap dish to be in a state of poor cleanliness, with visible mold present. I reported this issue to the front desk staff the following day and requested that the bathroom be cleaned. Unfortunately, upon returning to my room, I found that the issue had not been addressed. Given the subpar cleanliness and service I experienced during my stay, I would like to request a compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort caused. I would appreciate it if this compensation could be credited to my (link unavailable) account through the app, in the form of a voucher or credit towards a future booking. I expect a higher standard of cleanliness and service from a hotel, especially one that I booked through your website. I hope that you will take my feedback into consideration and take necessary steps to ensure that the hotel maintains a higher standard of cleanliness.
