"This was the perfect location for our needs. My husband was having open-heart surgery and we stayed the Blue Heron the night before so we wouldn't have to worry about traffic. I continued to stay on for a few days later to be close to the hospital - it was only .8 of a mile away! "The boathouse was perfect for me and my husband! We had everything we needed, took full advantage of the kayak and spent hours on the water!! It was just beautiful and we saw so many manatee!! The bed was comfy and the shower was great! "This house looks newly renovated. The kitchen appliances are impressive, as is the entire house. The bed was super comfortable, bedding and towels were good quality. "The properties undergoing renovation of its lobby and restaurant. The staff themselves were courteous, the area was full of cute boutiques, walking distance, lots of neighborhood restaurants, RJ gators was great for dinner. I’m glad we went, but just be aware consumer at the hotels, undergoing renovation and, it appeared the little dated. It needs a good paint job on the outside as well. We had a good time. . We were considering staying a second night, however, maybe if it was interesting condition for next time. "
