"We were visiting family who were camping in the state forest. Due to health issues we decided to not camp but rather stayed at the comfort inn. It was relaxing but had the busiest breakfast I've seen at a hotel in a long time."

"Our family enjoyed our week at the Rosewood Lodge. This is the most well-equipped and thoughtful VRBO we’ve stayed in, hands down. It really feels like a home with all the creature comforts you’d have at your home but forget to pack in a suitcase for a vacation. The sheets and beds were top comfort. The kitchen was beyond stocked. The views were outstanding! Hot tub was great to look at stars with the fire pit. We explored surrounding areas including La Crosse, Alma, Winona, Galesville, Wabasha, Eau Claire, Arcadia, and many small areas in between. independence is a quaint small town with very little to do to entertain, so we explored and observed - exactly what we needed in our get away! We rode our bikes on the Treampleau bike trail and put in the miles in both the flat and hilly country roads in small towns. Wonderful experience. Thank you!"

"Needed a few days disconnected from commitments and technology due to being worn down. This cabin was the perfect center of the trip both in location and feel. Very comfortable, warm, inviting, and relaxing. View over the river against the sun rise was great to enjoy with the morning coffee and a book. I cannot stress enough how quality everything feels. Kitchen was great and having the gas grill was appreciated. Most importantly, everything you would want is here in a package that is just right. The host were great and very helpful. I would highly recommend the Tiny House!"

"The farm stay was everything we hoped for. When we arrived Ed and Lorri had a basket with S'more fixings and a fire already built in the firepit. The farmhouse is so beautiful. My husband and i loved the fan in the upstairs bedroom. It was so quiet and yet cooling. We were on a mini vacay without our kiddos and i haven't felt so at ease in forever! Thank you for such a peaceful stay! We will definitely come back with the kiddos sometime, they will love the trails and play equipment!"
