The guy who came late in the night to check us in was very nice. Great guy. However, I felt like I was staying in down town portland, I was scared to sleep in the he'd or walk around barefoot. There was a couple moving their belongings from one room across the parking lot to another room all night long. They were living at the motel. Which isn't an issue, it was the moving of their stuff all night long, right by our door and window. We slept and left. The smell is musty and stale. We were the only temporary visitors, the 2 or 3 other rooms occupied were permanent tenants. I looked at getting a room at the best western up the street, as I waited for the receptionist to show up to check us in. I wish I would have. However, I didnt get any bug bites so, unscathed we came out.

good hotel and convenient location

The room was clean and the staff was helpful. No breakfast, just coffee and tea in the lobby in the a.m. No coffee maker in the room.

Such a beautiful property outside Walla Walla. Resort was very quiet, staff was friendly and welcoming. Complimentary breakfast was made to order (from a menu selection) and was delicious. Room was cozy, but spacious and had fantastic views. It was chilly and rainy during our stay, but they had a lot of good amenities to use when the weather is more favorable, including a pool, bikes, and paddle boards on their pond. Walla Walla was about a 10-15 minute drive from the resort. If we are back in this area, we will definitely stay here again!

Not quite enough furniture in rooms. Bar service was strange. But town is charming and hotel was historical and remodeled beautifully.
