Overall it was good, had to change rooms due to a loud toddler across the hall, but the hotel was understanding and worked with us in moving to a quieter area. Would stay there again.

When you check in make sure they have you accounted for your entire stay. My daughter had four nights stay with Expedia and Hampton only had her for three nights stay. Her card was charged for the four nights and had to convince the Hampton people she was right. They insisted she had to call Expedia about the matter. Not no but no way. They finally acknowledged that she was right. A customer should be given more acknowledgement up front and not have to completely keep explaining that they have and paid for four nights rather than three. We should not have had to stay in their lobby for 15 or 20 minutes having to explain. They blamed it on Expedia which I disagree. I’ve stayed at Hampton for 3 stays in the last couple of months, total of 9 days. My next one is coming up so I have to rethink it. Hope things get better for communication with their guest.

The breakfast was mediocre because server allowed for food to run out and two or three times..she had to be “tracked down” to replenish the bar with more food for hotel guests.…then you had to wait an additional 10-20 minutes while she went and prepared it..juice was watered down…she wasn’t doing a good job of keeping the bar wiped down...just terrible service..this hotel is very old ..toilet wouldn’t stop running.. the hotel needs to be remodeled…but the value for booking is dirt cheap..by far the cheapest you will pay to stay at any Hampton Inn anywhere..I’m guessing because it is so outdated 😒

Family visit and reunion

Came into Houma to visit with my family and attend my 50th. High school reunion. This hotel is managed very well. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. It appeared that they enjoyed working there. I definitely will stay here again.
