I made the reservation online, and when I arrived, I found the exterior of the hotel somewhat unappealing. However, once I went inside, I found the hotel to be decent. Overall, I had a good experience and would give it a solid 4 stars, although it did not quite meet a 5-star standard.

Great place to stay ! The rooms were very nice and clean and very cold A/C. Best value around for a stay, and its close to Barge 295 and Cabos if you like the night life. The breakfast was very nice, omelets, belguim waffles, and all sorts of other items. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

It is a very average hotel. Average room, odd smell in the hallway. Elevator sounded as if it were moments away from breaking, long clicking delay to the floor and for the door to open. Location is close to everything. Breakfast had an employee to make your eggs/omelet. Just an odd set up. I wouldn't stay here again.

Cigarette burn hole in sheets. AC was loud, whining, and didnt blew hard. Arrived to room at 10pm with puddle leaking from ac. By morning, when they fixed it, we used all our towels and they didnt replace them. Had to request towels and they gave us pool towels,smaller and not soft at all. Breakfast had someone cooking eggs which was nice but that was it. Lack of other choices other then a few pieces of fruit and bread. Location is good.

Overall good stay. The location is perfect for Kemah and NASA adventures. The breakfast is pretty good. There was a toy in our room on the couch which makes me feel like the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Also, our trash was not taken out so it was overflowing when we left. Despite those things, the value for what we paid was spot on.

I do not know if this can be a fair rating considering I only stayed one night however the room was clean my kids like the morning breakfast and it was very convenient to keep my boardwalk and the area was just beautiful

Their hotel was nice but the only thing was that our air conditioner unit didn’t keep the room too cool. It took awhile to even get close to being cool in the room. And some our extra bed sheets had a hole in it. Overall the hotel was nice and clean.

Pool is not heated but it was okay. Parking was okay close to the hotel. Staff was great, room was neat and presentable. Breakfast was from 6am-9am wish it was till 11 but they have a lady making any kind of omelette you wanted and that was amazing.

I stayed at Melrose for my daughter's birthday. Service was great, great location for us. Building and rooms were clean and updated. Only down side was the breakfast wasn't much options and the wifi never worked for me. But it was over all pretty good

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay! facility was clean, my kids enjoyed it! clean kitchen area from the fridge to the stove, we will definitely return as it was so near many great food choices as well. it was a great getaway the owners were courteous and professional ( friendly as well) the breakfast options were excellent!

The breakfast setup felt restrictive, with staff serving items like bacon, sausage, and eggs from behind a counter rather than allowing guests to help themselves. Additionally, despite the hotel listing stating there is a laundry facility, there isn’t one available on-site—so if you need to do laundry, you’re out of luck. On a positive note, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is perfectly adequate. However, use caution in the pool area—the edges are very jagged, and I ended up getting cut. Overall, those were the main highlights and concerns from my stay.

Home away from home

Staff very friendly and helpful from the time we walked into hotel to check in our room until we check out! Very clean rooms and breakfast with choices from fresh omelettes, fried eggs made to your taste , bagels, cereal, waffles, coffee, fresh fruits , OJ and oatmeal. When in Kemah , we will book here again. Thank you staff for a wonderful stay!!

Very Nice Place

Great in every way!! 5 minutes to Kemah! 30 minutes to Galveston. Across the street from the best Mexican food around!! Very nice, clean and affordable!!
