A very warm welcome on arrival, with a clear explanation given of things that we needed to know. Help offered with bags and an escort given to our more than pleasant booked room (Cathedral View). Facilities in room all that one might require, and with a comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfast options available from 07:30 am with a range of beverages. An easy check out procedure on departure.
One thing that has to be said is that my partner and I found the room somewhat over warm through the night, despite the fact that we had turned off the radiator. A reason that occurred to us was that with the room being at the top of the property, perhaps it was a case of all the heat from below rising.
Overall though, very highly recommended.

Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall.
The spa was really relaxing and well worth it.
The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely.
The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy.
They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special.
Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.

Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The room heating/cooling system was not affective. The pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress gave myself and my husband a bad back in the morning. The shower pressure was also terrible. The room was dated.
